MAGNETS HOLDER spray paint Pintyplus
The “Pintyplus magnets holder spray paint” allows the attraction of magnets on any painted surface. Several layers can be applied to obtain greater potential. Adheres to a multitude of surfaces such as wood, metal, stone, rigid plastics, etc.
This paint has been developed to hold lightweight and flat magnets. For heavier or uneven magnets less effective the paint will be.
Applications for the magnets holder spray paint
With this paint you can set aside the thumbtacks or adhesive tapes and change them by magnets, without damaging the surface. You can hang photos, plans or sketches with a couple of layers of paint and a few magnets, or help the children with their learning with magnetic letters or play making figures.
Technical characteristics
- Size 520/400ml
- Spreading = 1.5 m2
- Surface total drying time in 30 minutes.
- Recommended to apply another layer if needed with the same paint after 5 minutes and not later than 1 hour.
- Repaint with another paint after 5 days.
This paint has good adhesion on all surfaces whenever we use the corresponding primer.
How to use the magnets holder spray paint
The surface to be painted must be clean, dry and free of any type of contaminant.
Shake the spray can vigorously for 1 minute after the mixing balls sound. Spray at a distance of 25 cm., applying thin and fast layers, first horizontally and then vertically. It is advisable to give thin layers, especially the first, to obtain better adherence and prevent paint sagging.
Apply a minimum of 2 layers to obtain the effect of attraction of the magnet to the painted surface.
If we want to apply a layer of color with another paint, the minimum recommended layer is of 4. Wait 5 minutes between layer and layer, and 24 hours to repaint with the chosen paint. It can be repainted with any of the Pintyplus ranges although we recommend Evolution and Basic. If we use paints that leave a thicker layer like Pintyplus chalk, the attraction effect will be lost.
Once the operation is completed, invert the can and press until only gas comes out so the rest can be used next time.
Recommendations for use
The more layers, the greater the potential for attraction. If once painted we see that the magnets that we are going to use do not have enough attractive power, we can repaint again.
To achieve greater anchorage and protection, pre-treat the surface with any of the available Pintyplus primers depending on the surface and final use of the object to be painted. We have primers of all kinds for multiple surfaces: plastic, metal, cardboard, etc.
To paint on surfaces already painted, if the paint is well adhered, we will sand it superficially to facilitate the adhesion. If the paint is in poor condition, we will remove it by sanding or by other means such as Paint Stripper Tech spray.
Do not use on devices connected to the electrical network and apply in ventilated areas.
Once empty, the spray must be deposited in the yellow container.
