How to apply Pintyplus Aqua water-based spray paint
Pintyplus Aqua water-based spray paint is very easy to use. As a general rule, the surface to be painted should be clean, dry and free from any contaminants, especially oils or silicones that may repel the paint. However, for most scrapbooking and craft applications, this preparation is not usually necessary, as the surfaces tend to be highly absorbent.
Shake the aerosol vigorously for approximately 30 seconds after hearing the mixing balls rattle. Before painting, test the spray on a piece of paper and determine the appropriate spraying distance. Each application may require a different distance depending on the technique being used. Optimal spray performance is achieved from a distance of approximately 10 cm.
Once the application is complete, if any product remains inside the can, turn the can upside down and spray until only gas is released. This clears the paint valve and allows the product to be used again in the future.
Pintyplus Aqua spray paint can be removed with soap and water within the first 15 minutes after application, while still wet. Any unwanted marks or stains can therefore be cleaned easily before the paint dries.
Recommendations for use
Test beforehand on a sample or small section of the intended material in order to prevent possible incompatibilities.
Start and finish spraying outside the boundaries of the object or surface being painted.
On previously painted surfaces, light sanding is recommended to improve adhesion. If the existing paint is in poor condition, it should be completely removed by sanding or by using Pintyplus Tech Paint Stripper. The new paint can then be applied as normal.
For application on plastic surfaces, we recommend first applying a coat of Pintyplus Tech Plastic Primer. This primer also allows Pintyplus Aqua to be applied even on glass surfaces.
Although this spray paint is ideal for scrapbooking projects, it offers thousands of creative possibilities that we would love you to explore and share with us. We encourage you to experiment and tell us about your experience on our social media channels.
Do not use on energised equipment and always apply in well-ventilated areas.
