European Aerosols Opens Its New Logistics Centre in Torres de la Alameda, Madrid

The company strengthens its presence in Spain with a new 7,000 m² facility designed to increase its logistics capacity and support the Group’s growth in the country.

European Aerosols has opened its new logistics centre in Torres de la Alameda, Madrid, marking another step in the company’s consolidation and growth in Spain.

The new facilities are located on a 7,000 m² site and include approximately 3,000 m² of warehouse space, divided into three sections and equipped with the protection and safety systems required for APQ storage. The site also includes an adjacent office building of approximately 450 m².

The centre also features a 40 kW photovoltaic system, which will progressively increase the share of renewable energy in the company’s energy consumption.

New employees hired in recent months have primarily joined the company in the Torres de la Alameda area, further strengthening European Aerosols’ presence in the municipality.

European Aerosols Strengthens Its Presence in Spain

The opening of the new logistics centre marks a further step in the development of European Aerosols’ operations in Spain, which began in 2024 with the acquisition of Novasol Spray SAU, a manufacturer of aerosol paints and owner of the Pintyplus and NBQ brands.

Since then, the Group has continued to develop its operations at the Llorenç del Penedès plant, introducing improvements aimed at optimising processes and enhancing customer service. The addition of the Torres de la Alameda centre now expands this structure with a facility specifically designed to strengthen logistics operations and support the company’s future growth.

Opening of the New Facilities

The opening event brought together representatives of European Aerosols, local authorities and partner companies involved in the development of the project.

European Aerosols was represented by Jürg Vogelsang, owner of the company, accompanied by his sons Robin Vogelsang, Luis Vogelsang and Julian Vogelsang, as well as Annegret Nel Vogelsang-Sauter, a member of the management team, and other members of the Group’s management: Thomas Schäfer, Ralf Mündöfer, Johan Helmich and Miguel Ángel Olías, CEO of European Aerosols in Spain. Representing the municipality were the Mayor of Torres de la Alameda, José Antonio Blanco, and Councillor for Urban Planning María García Medina.

During his remarks, Jürg Vogelsang expressed his particular appreciation for the work carried out by the Spanish team and its role in the development of the project, encouraging everyone to continue moving forward with ambition as the company enters this new stage.

Miguel Ángel Olías, CEO of European Aerosols in Spain, thanked the Vogelsang family for the trust they have placed in the Spanish team. He also highlighted the significant effort made over recent months by the Madrid and Tarragona teams to make the opening of the new facilities possible, as well as the commitment and dedication of everyone involved in the project in Spain.

Annegret Nel Vogelsang-Sauter also highlighted the contribution of the partner companies involved in the construction and commissioning of the new warehouse, several of which attended the opening event. She also thanked the Spanish team for its commitment and expressed her appreciation for the trust placed in the Group during this new stage. “We will do everything we can to turn all that trust into success. Today marks the beginning of something even bigger than all of this,” she said during her remarks.

The event concluded with a guided tour of the new facilities, followed by a cocktail reception for guests.
